Welcome to my site. If there is one thing we can count on in life, it is change. And I am changing my professional focus in order to secure a better future. Negatively impacted by this economy, it is back to school for me. In order to be part of a solution to a future shortage of nurses, I am currently enrolled in Southwest Community College where I am taking pre-requisites to enter the UTHSC Master of Science in Nursing-Clinical Nurse Leader program this June. This is an accelerated 2 year program for people who already have a Bachelor's degree.

Although I am having to take a few steps backwards in order to move forward, I am very excited about my new direction in life, which gives me a deeper sense of purpose.
